At VCA South Shore Animal Hospital, we are a neighborhood pet care clinic that has served our community for years and also enjoy the benefits of belonging to a strong nationwide animal doctor network. We offer wellness care and specialty medicine all under one roof. Our staff works as a team so you don’t just get one pet doctor; you get a team of veterinarians and technicians who are all devoted to advising you on the best course of treatment for your pet. Furthermore, our doctors have access to over 200 board-certified veterinary specialists in addition to the 15 we have on staff. That’s important, because if we want or need a different perspective on a problem or condition that a pet may have, we call on our colleagues, many of whom are recognized as experts in their specialty. We also have our own Medical Advisory Board that keeps us up-to date on the very latest developments in veterinary medicine. You and your pet will benefit from the combined expertise of our nationwide veterinary network.
We have veterinarians and support staff that been caring for animals in the veterinary medicine field for over 30 years. We employ caring and compassionate individuals who know what it is like to be a pet parent, including over 15 technicians who have had special schooling and have passed a national exam to be certified in their field.
Together with your regular veterinarian, we take pride in taking good care of the “furry” family members in our community.

Pet Insurance
We will also assist you and your pet with your pet insurance needs (such as Trupanion Pet Insurance). Ask us about Trupanion Pet Insurance today.
We understand that pet insurance is best utilized when it is obtained at the time your pet is a puppy or kitten and it may not help with the immediate need of an emergency visit or specialty referral situation, but it can certainly help with future visits!
We can also help you with processing your pet insurance paperwork to maximize on your reimbursement.
Medical Insurance for your pet can come in handy when illness or injury arises. Trupanion covers 90% of veterinary costs including; hospital stays, diagnostic tests, medications, surgeries and other treatments when your pet is ill or injured. Trupanion does not impose pay out limits either. This means that your coverage will not be cut off and your rates will not rise just because your pet is unlucky or develops a chronic condition. Quincy Animal Shelter
The Quincy Animal Shelter is a 100% volunteer run organization.The Shelter has NO PAID STAFF and relies completely on their volunteers and the community for support. Incorporated in November 1999 as a non-profit Massachusetts charity, they are also a recognized charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. Since 1999 the Quincy Animal Shelter has placed more than 5,000 cats and dogs into loving and forever homes through out MA and New England.

Fairy DogParents
Fairy DogParents is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that helps prevent dogs from being surrendered to shelters.
They provide assistance with food, medical and general wellness needs of qualified dog recipients in Massachusetts.
Fairy DogParents is 100% dependent on donations and they cannot guarantee any goods or services for applicants.
Massachusetts Humane Society
MHS was started on June 7th, 2004 with a handful of caring and supporting Volunteers that wanted to help reach out to homeless, neglected and mistreated animals. The mission of MHS is to help shelter animals by providing exceptional care and proper placement of adoptable companion animals. Caring for life long unadoptable animals. The MHS staff is dedicated, committed and tirelessly engaged in ensuring every animal entrusted to us is nurtured, provided food, medications if needed, and opportunities for exercise and play in a warm and safe environment.

New England Wildlife Center
The New England Wildlife Center is an informal hands-on science education organization that uses the activities of veterinary medical care and rehabilitation of wildlife like raccoons, reptiles, and birds of prey, and the veterinary care of exotic pets like snakes, lizards, and turtles as a vehicle for learning by elementary, middle school, high school and undergraduate students. The Center, located in a green, sustainable facility known as the Thomas E. Curtis Wildlife Hospital and Education Facility, is in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
The Center is a community integrated non-profit that serves as the meeting place for science educators, reptile enthusiasts, animal control officers, wildlife caretakers, folk musicians, and habitat based artists.

Sterling Animal Shelter
The Animal Shelter Inc. of Sterling, Massachusetts EIN # 04-3236868 is a non-profit organization (formed in 1988 - incorporated in 1994) and no-kill animal shelter with no time or age restrictions. The shelter exists to provide humane sheltering and high quality medical care for stray, unwanted, abused and neglected animals and to find loving, lifelong homes for orphaned pets.
The staff is dedicated to finding good homes for adoptable pets and they continue to promote responsible pet ownership and to improve the quality of life for the animals and people in our community. The Shelter is supported entirely by donations from private individuals and through surrender and adoption fees. The Animal Shelter, Inc. does not receive support from the United Way or from federal, state or local governments. Their on-site veterinary clinic cares for over 3,000+ animals that come through their shelter yearly and provides a low/no cost spay/neuter, general wellness program assisting local animal control officers, shelters and breed rescues.
